Individual therapy
Individual psychotherapy is a rich, powerful experience.
I believe that a positive experience will help you feel strong and capable but also more centered and balanced. You will gain insight into yourself and your relationships. You will have a safe space to process current challenges and also heal from past traumas or complex, unresolved issues.
Therapy can help you clarify what feels right in your life and what you'd like to change. It can help you learn new coping strategies.
I am also EMDR trained. EMDR is a validated, effective treatment for trauma and PTSD.


EMDR: Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy
EMDR is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based psychotherapy designed to treat trauma and PTSD by helping the brain reprocess stuck, distressing memories.
What is the EMDR process?
EMDR follows an eight stage model, but overall involves less talking than typical individual psychotherapy, making it appealing for some people who feel they have talked a lot already about their traumatic experiences without symptom improvement, or who would prefer not to share the details of their past traumatic experiences.

Why does EMDR work?
EMDR therapy uses bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or taps, to reduce the emotional charge of traumatic memories, allowing individuals to heal from them.

I have an office in Florham Park, NJ from which I do in person therapy every weekday.
I am also a PSYPACT clinician so can practice virtually in almost all U.S. states. I use a HIPAA compliant, confidential virtual platform for these sessions. Virtual sessions are covered by your insurance similarly to in-person sessions.
